How To Make Copies of Plans in QuickCoach

As you build out programs for your clients, you might want to use the same plan repeatedly. You might reuse plans for a lot of reasons, such as:

  • Repeating workouts with small changes
  • Weekly or monthly check-in forms
  • Repeating meal plans
  • Sending reassessments

There are two paths to making copies of plans.

When building your program templates

Step 1: Head over to your Plans Drafts & Program Templates page by clicking the lightning bolt icon.

Step 2: Click on the Program Templates tab.

 

Step 3: You can either click on either of the Create A Template buttons to start with a new template or you can open an existing template by clicking on the folder.

Step 4: Check the boxes of the plans you want to make copies of. Then click the copy icon at the top.

 

 

Step 5: You'll get this pop-up box. Click okay.

 

Step 6: You'll see that your copied plans are under a Draft Plans section. If you want to make any edits to these plans, click the edit icon to go into the plan builder.

 

 

Step 7: Make any plans to your plan and then click Publish Plan. Now that plan will go to the bottom of your ready plans section.

 

Optional Step 8: You can rearrange your plans by clicking the three horizontal lines on the left of the plan name and dragging the plan into the position you want.

PRO TIP: You may see pagination or a button that says "see all." If you have a lot of plans, any new plans may end up on a new page. Simply click the other page numbers or "see all" to see your other plans.

Repeating plans in your client's dashboard

Step 1: Click on the person icon in the navigation to access your clients page.

Step 2: Click on the client whose plans you'd like to duplicate.

Step 3: Your plans are filed under 4 possible tabs - Drafts, Upcoming, Skipped, and Completed. Click on the tab where the plan is that you'd like to duplicate.

 

Step 4: Check the boxes of the plans you would like to duplicate. Then click the duplicate icon at the top of the column.

 

Step 5: You'll get this pop-up. Click ok.

 

Step 6: Those plans have now been moved to your client's drafts tab. Click on that tab to see your plans. Click on the edit icon to make any changes if need be. If you edit the plan, you can click Publish Plan from the plan builder and it will move the plan to the bottom of your Upcoming plans list.

 

Step 7: If you don't make any changes to the plans, you can publish multiple plans from the list. Check the boxes of the plans you'd like to publish and click the publish icon. Now those plans have been moved to the bottom of your upcoming plans tab.
